Mis-bee-having....

I was out early today to try and capture (photographically) one of the dozens of bees on our raspberry blossom.

Wasn't having much luck - they kept flying off just as I got the camera near - was thinking up journal titles like 'Bee gone'...

Then there was a very loud continuous buzzing / rasping noise which I tracked down to these who were really giving it some!! LARGE really shows the pollen and motion. I got another shot here.

I also spotted this ladybird - which I believe is a harlequin ladybird (conspicua variant). I followed it for a bit and caught it munching breakfast..

Long (5.4 mile) dog walk this afternoon and they are now crashed out! Me as well soon, I think.
