taking a rest

Hummingbird on the fence. I managed to get quite a few pictures of this guy this morning and some of them have the hummingbird in the upper left side of the lens and my cat Peace in the lower right side of the lens! Peace was sitting quietly on the railing under the righthand feeder and the hummingbird flew about and would drink at the lefthand feeder.

Hubby was outside at 7am today to begin trimming the holly bushes, azaleas, monkey grass and a few other things in the garden. Out there early to beat the heat. I went out with him but mainly and observer. Making sure no surprises like the time he disturbed a ground hornets nest!

My cat Neenah saw what we were up to and took tail for our neighbour's where she could hide out undisturbed. Peace and Spirit stayed on the porch railing where they could over see what Kent was doing.

The rest of the day is going to be a lazy day.
