Poppy field

A bright start to the day and when I read that the weather should be deteriorating later I headed out with the camera. I revisited a ridge where I have previously taken sunrise shots and was presented with a fairly dull view. Further along the track though I saw that the next field had rows of poppies scattered amongst the crop. I do love the bright red colour of them standing out in the field.

Then back home to say goodbye to my daughter who has visited for the bank holiday weekend.
