PRUNING THE OLIVE TREES

We have taken quite drastic action as one of the olive trees has been receiving too much water due to seepage from the dam. We are going to have to lop all the trees as we cannot get to the olives as the trees are so tall now.
The drum in the foreground was given tome by my neighbour for burning garden refuse. What is not composted is burned and the ash goes on the garden.
