Bank Holiday Monday

Why is the second May Bank Holiday so often grimly wet? Ross and I spent one such in a cinema 29 years ago when we were first 'an item'. Today there was a good turn out at the last day of Ross's Artweeks exhibit - before that he did his good deed for the day, rescuing a male hedgehog from a certain death in the road. He took it round to West Oxford Animal Rescue which gave a surprisingly hopeful prognosis for a good recovery. I am so grateful they are there.
