What a day!

What a day.
To start with i didnt sleep much. G's birthday celebrations went on a bit too much...
Then up early as it was a beautiful day to go for a good long walk.
A new path has been made so we decided to follow it, it went on the a long while then it ended abruptly at the river with a bridge half built.

The only way way to cross the river or walk all the way back... We tried to find a shallow stoney area and searched for quite a while but no all deep and fast flowing. It meant getting our feet wet or walking another 4 miles. Tilly was tiring so we opted go across the river. At the first step i slipped on a mossy stone and fell head first into the river. I was wet from head to toe and quite a way from home! K thought it was hilarious ( he managed to run across.) once home i showered then made a fish pie a sheperds pie, cleaned up, searched for my sandel ( one was in the bedroom the other was found in the garden!) took E to his singing lesson then dropped!
My leg and arm are now bruising nicely and im not moving off the settee all night.
I gave tilly a frozon carrot to stop her eating my sandels but she just keeps licking it!
Hopefully tomorrow will be easier.
