Good as it gets!

Weather nothing like the forecast from yesterday - again! It was forecast yesterday to be wall to wall sun. It turned out dull, overcast and cold. Hardly a forecast. More like a premonition. A loose guess as to what might happen. Even this morning it was showing sunny albeit over a much smaller area.
Very disappointing Bank Holiday weather and even worse forecast.
Maybe the Met Office should back to pine cones and seaweed. The hit rate would be just the same but cost an awful lot less.

We decided to keep away from the crowds and go for a walk up Stonebarrow and over towards Golden Gap. Everywhere you went the paths were dotted with mud-bath sections that, in the end, were un-passable without getting knee deep in glutinous brown stuff. Not fun when you've got to get everyone and a filthy muddy dog back in the car - my car - one with cream seats. Not today thanks!

In the end, I did just a hand full of photos. As you can see, the rest were useless since this is the cream of the crop - and that is merely a nice scenic shot.
