Abbey Garden Gates
Didn't sleep as well as expected, probably because we aren't used to the noise of a town/city which woke us at 05:30, had a cup of tea and eventually went back off until 08:00.
Lovely breakfast, quick wander, then a drive to Colchester to see Mum and Dad.
Thought Mum was going to cry when she saw us, she was preparing a small roast dinner and was hoping that we would phone to say we were popping over, so we added some more green veg and some mashed potatoes and joined them for lunch. Didn't like to say we'd just had a big breakfast after a greeting like that!
This was Mum's first 'real' meal since having the biopsy on Thursday, she ate it all and really enjoyed it, hopefully onwards and upwards.
There was quite a 'debate' between them about the extent of surgery Dad is having on Friday, whether the whole pacemaker and wires anre being replaced or just some bits, who knows but if it stops him from having the funny turns he has been having that is the main thing.
Spoke to Jon and Dana, Jon looks better, Dana looks a bit tired and sounds like she is fighting a bug. Still under curfew in Bangkok.
My brother and his wife are giving it another go so let's wait and see what happens.
Here is my Sunday blip!
Other than that a quiet couple of days :-)
