Sugar rush 2

Left work early expecting the boys to arrive around 5 from London. They were riding up to Kings Lyn last night and then pushing up the rest of the way today.
Went out for a 20K bike ride to check the gears. Still playing up. Hopefully the competition events are relatively flat so I won’t have to go from top gear to bottom.
Got back and had a text to say the boys were staying at Keswick. Seems they had a bad ride up and got caught in some rain and behind traffic. Well they were riding up through the lakes on the Friday before a bank holiday weekend at the start of half term. Who would have thought there would be caravans around!!
Decided to go out with fellow blipper RD for a bite to eat at his local and a few beers. Turned out to be a few beers too many in the end.
Had another sugar craving on the way back so a quick pit stop before heading home to watch the Japanese leg of the World Triathlon Series.
