Tate

I went to London today and had a walk along Southbank to Tower Bridge. On the way I stopped at the Tate Gallery and pondered how photographic composition doesn't appear, to my very un trained eye, to exist in paintings.

Rule of thirds, foreground interest, clear subject, incomplete limbs, person in red kagool all present or missing, if you get my drift. If art is art why the difference?
