War loot

Not mine, my uncle's from the second war. He was at Dunkirk and Normandy in tanks. He told me he got them from a German officer.

They have a swastika and the German eagle on the top to the right. They still work perfectly apart from a bit of a black flake in one of the lenses. He said this was caused by shell blasts.

When he died he left them to me as I'd always been interested in his tales of the war. He also introduced me to the Lake District fells for which I'm eternally grateful.
