Standing Guard.

This college Porter was making sure nobody entered Whewell's Court today as it was closed to visitors. It is a Grade II listed building, stone faced and in Gothic style, belonging to Trinity College, Cambridge and was built in 1856-60 to accommodate students. It was designed by A. Salvin and assisted by the Master of Trinity, William Whewell. I have in fact been invited to a party there in my young days, but didn't really notice the building. However, blipfoto has really made me aware of my surroundings.
