Wet Bank Holiday

Woke this morning full of enthusiasm for all the things I wanted to achieve in the garden today. Some hope! Opened the curtains to a steady drizzle that lasted most of the day. Inevitably it was an indoors kind of a day, and even the garden wildlife I might have blipped looked too bedraggled to make a good photo. So while daughter was head down on her books doing final preparation for a uni exam tomorrow, I got on with my pet hate, ruddy housework.

Even the dog was unimpressed with today's weather, although why he perversely chose to lie the wrong way in his basket was beyond me. You'd be much more comfortable turned through 90 degrees, chum!
