Bikers

The kids were able to bike all over the campground, it was awesome. They have paved roads throughout, with 10 mph speed limits for cars - making it very safe for even the littlest bikers. And there were plenty of them, little ones with training wheels, and older ones with electric scooters. Everyone seemed to enjoy the many trails and loops around the campground.

Colby and Kaylee have definitely enjoyed their new bikes, a gift from Mom and Dad for Christmas. I even enjoyed riding Colby's bike today on a ride with Kaylee. The campground has so much to offer for the kids, it's great. They have enjoyed their freedom to ride without supervision, go to the rec hall to play games, walk down to the basketball court to play, or fish off the dock on the beach. All, on their own. It was fun to watch as they discovered new paths, or met new friends, reporting back to us every half hour or so.

The boys attempted fishing this morning, but found they brought the wrong gear for the water temp, and conditions. Oh well, I think they had fun exploring uncharted territory all the same.
