Talisman...

I have now actually been browbeaten into having played this, albeit what is apparently a short game (several hours worth) that didn't really end.

We were visiting Greg, son No2 to collect back fully functioning desktop (minus the irretrievable data).
He asked us if we would like to play this game... I was heavily outnumbered but there were wine and snacks and they cooked us rainbow trout with samphire and new potatoes later... on top of free computer fixing - I was not really in a position to decline. 'Oh go on mum...'

I was a Tavern Maid - type cast? - who gained lots of money by obliging other players to pay me for 'potions' which variously incapacitated them and also meant that I could afford to buy better weapons than them.

We got home very late with our blanket-shrouded machine which will be fully installed and functioning tomorrow. The struggling lap top will get a reprieve!
