Hibiscus

A typical British Bank Holiday Monday, with non-stop rain and a cold wind. I feel rather sorry for the visitors who have taken the trouble to come over to the Island for a break. Not a lot to do in this weather.

Trapped in doors to catch up with various chores I photographed this recently bought Hibiscus which had suddenly come into bloom. I'm not usually very lucky with houseplants so fingers crossed for the survival of this one.
