Former Star of the Silver Screen

I found this great character in the mountain top town of Erice. The medieval and largely deserted town sits 2400ft above the sea, affording magnicent views in all directions. At times we were above the clouds and they would frequently conceal the churches or castle.

This old lady was very happy to pose for me, next to her stall. I imagine her as a former film star, selling posters from the golden age of silent movies in the 20/30's.
