Refuge

There are many wildlife refuge areas in western Montana and this is one of them.
The still waters are home to hundreds of species of birds and mammals that are visitors or residents. The low croon of several loons were heard today. Maybe the babies are fledging...or maybe it's just such a fine day to sing.
