Alternative Berlin....

Did an alternative, three hour, Berlin tour today...it was free, the idea being that you tip the guide what you think it was worth at the end. Alex (our guide) was excellent, taking us to some very cool areas off the tourist trail and giving a very interesting historical context, and insight into some of the current 'stars' of the street art movement which lends so much character to the city.
We saw some stunning large scale murals, including those on a long stretch of a remaining section of the Berlin Wall. But it was the faded, grungy beauty of this little street which persuaded me to blip it today....
Just recovering from late afternoon currywurst and beer.....maybe seeking out some live music later.....:-)
