What?! Do you mean to tell me that it's not a myth

There were plenty of other, more aesthetically pleasing photos that I wanted to choose, but this one just stunned me...I was convinced that the idea of putting your head into a lion's mouth was the stuff of mythology and cartoons from my childhood. Apparently, at least according to this poster advertising the 8th international circus festival (again, who would have thought?!), it's a real "event". I'm stunned. I'm continually amazed that the circus still exists, given the wealth of entertainment that is everything that the circus isn't, and last summer, we actually made the rather surreal decision to visit a small circus at Balaton. Weird, as an adjective, barely scratches the surface. Essentially a wealth of pointless skills on display by an extended family claiming every few minutes, to be different families. Most odd. For one, I know I wouldn't have the staying power to remain in such a cul-de-sac, maybe they're to be admired...? Either way, this revelation to me was my choice. I'm still not impressed enough to consider going, though!
