Perception

This photo was taken of the house opposite my building, through my front door 'privacy glass'. It got me thinking about this quote:

'Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.'
― Wayne W. Dyer

and how this can be understood in both a literal and a figurative sense.

It's kind of amazing that each person kind of lives in a unique world, a private world different from those inhabited and experienced by all other people, and a simple change in perspective or attitude can alter that world dramatically.

Anyway, I had a lovely Skype session with Damian today, and also got some work done on updating my resume and application. Feeling good!
