Al and The DeathEaters

I've been planning a surprise trip for Al for some time now. He deserves a treat for various reasons, including having such a great attitude to his learning and the huge amount of work and homework he has to do. I decided to make it The Making of Harry Potter, even though he's been twice because I know that it is his favourite thing ever.

I rushed around assembling things for camping all morning, then told Al we needed to drive to my friend Amanda's to borrow some stuff for camping. A long drive followed by listening to me and Amanda gossip then another long drive home would be his idea of hell. I just drove to the place and Al's face was a cartoon of shock, surprise and uncontrollable excitement when he realised what was happening - it was priceless.

We had a great time, he really loves it there, it never gets old.

I took Al's picture with two of the silent Death Eaters that were creeping around the place. I noticed that most people chose to pose with them fighting them - Al chose to be fighting with them! He loves a good baddie.

Home. Camping tomorrow. Very excited!
