The sign around the Citizen Firefighter statue is doubly poignant. Not only does it thank all the brave firefighters that tackled the fire and saved The Mac.

Kenny Hunter, the scultor, was a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art.

So, I'm adding another thank you for saving the beloved Mac.
