European oak leafroller

This Little caterpillar will usually visit our oak tree population in a ten years cycle. Last year they were everywhere and all leaves disappeared in early June.

This year they are back again. After a walk you need to spend some minutes to pick them away from your body.

The leaves are eaten up and it looks like early spring again.
