Better than expected

We had thought that today was going to be a washout with us cottage-bound but instead we had visitors, a catch up, a walk down the lane (without getting wet) and then a walk to the furthest pub for lunch - scampi and a very good pint for me - and back. Not so sure that we will be as lucky weather-wise tomorrow but fingers crossed.
