Unflattering Self Portrait

Yesterday I saw a photo that a friend had taken of me where I appeared to have a huge bald patch! Now, I never see the back of my own head, and as I feel around with my fingertips, it feels like I still have some hair growing back there, but I decided to use the magic of photography to check for myself.

Really wish I hadn't!

So it's not actually bald there yet but it is extremely thinning... and what's left of my hair seems to be swirling around in some kind of vortex, like it's disappearing down a plughole! And I have a silly little curl in the middle of the swirl. Harumph.

So I'm off to buy a skull cap.
