Make Believe
No-one will ever know, just how much I love you so,
But it's only make believe
written by Conway Twitty, 1958
Sung by Billy Fury 1964
This song was playing in my dream as I woke this morning, so it gets a place in the journal. Not surprisingly this was nature of reality stuff for me, mixed with childhood memories. I was only three when the original version came out so I'm guessing the song that played in my dream was from the 1960's when much of my musical taste was influenced by my older brothers and sisters. And without going any deeper it must have been my sisters influence because my brothers were keen rock fans.
Started doing preparation and decorating one of the bedrooms today. Watch the demands for work start rolling in! My subconscious isn't a fan of decorating - the last time I started I was inundated with business for about a year! Managed to decorate the ceiling and two doors in the bedroom .
Reading Dan Browns "Inferno" at the moment. Early stages yet but his "hero" has a recurring dream image which he's deciphering as the plot unfolds. Yes, my life in a novel.... Seems to be a connection between the action in the novel and the "action" in my dreams.
And the dark clouds, a bit like my understanding of the dream I guess, obscure and overcast in places with some bright light shining through in places. Good fun this.
