Fifty Six Degrees North

Other than some 'meh' snaps taken on the road home, it was looking increasingly likely that the guinea pigs were going to be drafted into making an emergency appearance on here. Later on though it looked like there might've been a good sunset on the cards, so headed down to the river.

The tide was heading out, revealing this load of tyres and the obligatory Tesco trolley or two. Seems no time since we were struggling to get photos in the daylight for out journals but the days are definitely stretching out now - waited ages, 'til nearly 10pm, for the sun to set and do its thing here. Not complaining though, quite partial to a long stretched out chunk of daylight.

Nice way to finish off day that felt long for plenty of other reasons.
