Bealach Beag Cycle

Today was the big cycle event I've been training for, and I'm very happy to have completed it.

This photo is taken by one of the marshalls near the top of the Bealach Na Ba which is the UK's biggest Road climb rising 2000ft from sea level in just 6 miles.

My brother in law and I climbed it in just under an hour, and we were on the bikes for 3hrs 35min to cover the full 43 mile route.

Our total time including food and drink stops was 4 hours exactly to get back to Shieldaig where the family were there to meet us with big smiles, cheers, hugs, and bubbly.

An amazing experience, and I would do it again if the opportunity came up :)
