Wander in the wild deer

Just to prove I can take pictures without Macro tubes - and of mammals. Luckily saw deer three times on an evening jaunt around old haunts. The young stag just lay - only 10-15 yards away, but foxed my autofocus with bracken and denied my manual focus when my battery gave out - but the hind made up for it by contriving a beautiful backlit pose until she too, bounded effortlessly away. Always a joy to see them.
