Look what I did!

Today was day one of the tree trimming.
I have so many dramatic photos of the crane in action, the men wielding chain saws at the top of our 90 foot fir tree, the beautiful stumps.
My daughter wanted the suggestion that she had worked hard though - this is her standing on one of the pear tree stumps. To me a pear tree should produce you know pears? Ours just had pretty blossom for a few days a year and then sat there shedding leaves into the pool the rest of the time!
Today they removed 9 of the 15 trees but left all the stumps. Tomorrow - the stump removal, small trees shall fall and clean up will begin.
I spent all day on the lookout for angry Ents. None seen.
