Peace

These delicate new leaves are on a kukui tree in the Millennium Peace Circle, just at the entrance to Diamond Head. Kukui is Hawaii's state tree.
Dedicated in October 2010, this little gem of a park has a circular bench with trees for shade, thoughts on peace by famous people ring the circle on plaques affixed to upright stones, and groups of trees mark the perimeter.
The sprinkler system had just shut off, so the park was cool, green and peaceful.
