A Penny for Your Thoughts

When I would lose myself in a daydream, my high school biology teacher would bring me back to reality with a quiet request - "A penny for your thoughts?". To this day, I fondly remember this phrase spoken by my favorite teacher with the witty sense of humor who taught my favorite class, and who was also head of the photography club.

This afternoon, I came upon this young daydreamer, lost in his own thoughts as the busy to and fro activity of a popular downtown street went right past him.
