Kerrera

We visited Kerrera on our last day and I think it would be fair to say that I left a little piece of my heart there. I didn't see sea eagles or puffins but I saw parrots and heard cuckoos calling to each other so I wasn't disappointed. It was a 10 mile hike and, even though it rained half way through and we were soaked to the skin, it didn't matter a jot and I loved every single second. We stopped at the Kerrera Tea Garden & Bunkhouse for lunch and it was pretty much nigh on perfect. If you ever visit Oban, make sure you take the short ferry ride over to Kerrera and go visit the Tea Garden - well worth it. Oh how I am blessed to live in such a beautiful country.
