Snow Day

Cardiff Castle from Bute Park. Annoyingly I was almost in work after 40 minutes walking in when I got a text to say it was a snow day and we didn't have to turn up.

No mention of working from home either which means that I've worked all day (meetings, documents, emails) and nobody else has even though the roads were actually ok and the buses were running and at least half of the office *could* have come in...

But, i wouldn't have gone to the park otherwise, nor wandered through town and had tea and chat with a friend so all in all, I don't mind.
