Head gear

For the past few months he has worn his hat pretty much everywhere. Outside and inside, whatever the occasion at all times of day or night. Therefore it makes perfect sense not to wear it when walking the mile and a half home from the school bus on one of the coldest, iciest days of the year.

So I do my parental duty, wag my finger and tell him that he'll catch his death of cold.

Then, I remind myself not to tell him what I used to go out wearing!
