Orange Pastel Poppy Flower.

The rain continued all morning, but I went for a walk to the shops and then for some exercise, carrying my big transparent brolly.
The poppies, or papavers, to use their botanical name, are looking tremendous with the promise of more beauty looking at the many unopened buds.
Maria phoned from York and we had a nice catch up chat.
She has been fortunate to get part time employment at Pizza Hut and the hours are in shifts that fit in well with her uni studies.
She is really happy.
