The lonely road north

Today was the Scottish Orienteering Individual Championships at Dalnamein, near Blair Atholl. The weather was kind, with some sunshine and the courses really good. I was a bit slow, as everytime I tried to push a bit and run, I started coughing. A legacy of the cold I've had for a wee while. Very annoying, as my orienteering was good. We had to park on the old A9, and this is the view from our spot in the afternoon. This is looking towards Drumochter, and there are still large snow patches from the winter in view.
