Zéphirine Drouhin
An exquisite name for an exquisite rose:-) This is starting to climb nicely up some trellis on the front of our house and it's a real favourite of mine. It's a thornless, beautifully-scented Bourbon rose and a prolific and long-lasting flowerer. That's if it can be protected from mildew, blackfly, greenfly, mould and all the other ailments that roses are prone to! Regular spraying keeps most of the nasties at bay and it keeps on growing, so we must be doing something right.
A cold, grey day again, so no desire to venture further than the garden!
