Pinnation

Pinnation: 'the arrangement of feather-like or multi-divided features arising from both sides of a common axis'. This is in fact a 'twice pinnate leaf' with leaflets coming off the pinnate leaves. Being autumn, the leaf is looking a little bit ragged.
