Holiday break -day 2

You can't beat having a lovely two course breakfast to start your day off - with no washing up to be done (this is the life).

So after dreaming yesterday of buying a small boat to use at weekends and holidays, today we dreamt of having a holiday home. Ended up exploring Hayling Island and settling at the all day car park near the amusements/fun fair, staring out at the sea eating fish and chips out if the wrapper!

Then on to a nature reserve at the top of the island where nesting Little Terns are supposed to be but mainly saw (and heard) nesting gulls in the saline bay (used to be for oysters) at Langstone.

On the way back to the hotel came across a delightful little nursery and tea-room and couldn't resist a cream tea followed by a walk around the flowers.

Very happy with day 2 of holiday - got us talking about thinking of buying a motor home, taking 6 months off work and touring in Scotland - "bump" back to reality now!
