Tide is high

Another day, another beach!

Actually two beaches today. We started off at Porth near Newquay and made sandcastles, walked up the river, collected shells and explored more rockpools.

We then headed north to Watergate Bay to find somewhere for lunch. We headed toward a beach cafe and were told we would have an hours wait. They recommended the hotel restaurant and we were glad they did as it was a lovely setting, better views, quieter, great service and lovely food!

After lunch we headed to the beach for an afternoon of sandcastle building, we built a huge fortress with surrounding moat and then waited for the tide to come in to fill it up!
