Mrs S heads East

Today Mrs Soup and Joan, her manager, popped down to the Association of Chinese Women in Plumstead. Their visit had been arranged as part of the local Dragon Boat celebrations. Mrs S gave a talk on Dementia Awareness which, in some format, will soon be available on TV in 40 countries across Europe! Fortunately two interpreters were on hand to translate Mrs S’s pearls* of wisdom. The local audience, of around seventy, were very appreciative. Following the talk, the visitors were treated to a very nice Chinese lunch and a chat with the members.

* Mrs S was told that her first name may be translated as Pearl in Mandarin.
