Dog's life

Dog's life. A pair of hounds protecting Risley Hall. In the hotel there was a wedding party, a wake and then us in the orangery having a birthday lunch for my husband. Granny had met us half way between our houses with an hours drive each. It worked out well.
The weather on the other hand was cold, rainy and miserable. Some years it has been hot and we have eaten fresh British strawberries.
