Today would have been my father's 90th Birthday. The post scales remind me of him because he loved antiques and bought these many years ago from Eaton Hall, (home of The Duke of Westminster). They would have been used I think by the Butler to calculate the cost of the Master's letters. A reminder of days and a lifestyle long gone.
