Touched by Scotland
Woke up in Huntly, as a very, very happy version of me. However it was a bittersweet morning.
I felt like a tourist, well I was a tourist...I visited the castle then hit the road to Aberdeen. Passed this place on the way here, so it was worth a stop, mainly because the sign made me giggle SO much, dirty minded, I know. Turns out it's actually a really cool art gallery/craft place.
It felt great to be back in Aberdeen, plus I knew where I was going...went to meet up with my old boss Alan and Tracy. Great office. Really glad I'll be heading back there next February. Going back has so many positives and this is just one of them. Finally happy with this decision and I'm looking forward to it.
After that I pampered myself by shopping! I even bought a CD. I can't tell you the last time I did that. I was too impatient to wait for it to appear on Spotify and I had a few hours in the car to try and stay awake. 'Sam Smith - In the lonely hour' is awesome. It was lush to listen to something in the order the artist intended; must remember to do that more often.
Nap was had immediately after I got home - tired...but still smiling...
