Soap berry tree

Or Sapindus drummondii. neither name is very exciting for a wonderful US native tree that has its beautiful moments, and is super tough. Here it has covered itself in delicate new leaves across the pond from the Rock Alpine Garden at Denver Botanic Gardens.

Is it tough enough to survive and thrive in Central Oklahoma and points west to the Colorado state line. This was from seed Collected in far SE Colorado.
