Ford

Having a superb few days off - it is very rare for me to get 5 days off in a row - so on the last day, with rain pouring, we hit Kingston to redeem some of my Xmas vouchers (special offer on trousers - now feel a little like I have joined one direction) , a little lunch at Carluccios (M bought a Minecraft 'Steve' which we played with all lunchtime - is that the only exams if computer games coming off the screen into reality?) tried on some awesome Tom Ford scents (and nearly fell over - £140 - that's what rich smells like) and then to ten-pin (and air hockey of course).

This was half way up the two-storey escalator in the Bentall centre. Still holds up as a piece of architecture a true homage to retail, a cathedral of shopping.
