Feathered friends

Forecast was for rain today but not to be deterred we headed out to Dunsterburgh Castle. Very atmospheric. Then over to Seahouses and Bamburgh.

Bit of a birding day today. Spotted a woodpecker before leaving the hotel, kittiwakes nesting, theses razorbills, swallows, thrush, robin, swans, heron and a small pheasant.

There are red squirrels in the hotel grounds but not seen them yet.
