Sunrise over the Hunter Hills

Well early morning start on the road before daylight. Grabbed this shot as I headed south in case I did not get another chance and I didn't. All the way down I was seeing the most amazing opportunities but knew I just did not have the time to stop. The snow on the Kakanuis, beautiful. Two rainbows, exquisite and then I hit the motorway into Dunedin what a storm, driving sleet and wind and rain it was atrocious. Got to the hospital after 3 hours solid driving and things were not good. However spent six hours in Dunedin and got in the car and drove three hours home again.
So it is a cup of soup and bed for me.
